JEWELLERY retailer Secrets Shhh has been inspired to polish the business, after being honoured as a finalist at the Prix De Marie Claire awards.
Founder and managing director Jane Meredith attended the ceremony in Sydney last week to contest the best Australian accessory brand category.
"The event was brilliant with an amazing showcase of Australian brands and designers," Meredith says.
"Despite the crazy weather Sydney has experienced this week the turnout was incredible and it was such a pleasure to be part of.
"Even though Secrets didn't win this year we are so proud to be a finalist at such a prestigious fashion and beauty event."
The Noosa-based business was up against the likes of Oroton, Mimco, Senso, Samantha Wills, Peter Lang, Senso and more.
Custom jewellery designer Sarah & Sebastian was named as the winner, with Tony Bianco taking out the reader's choice award.
Meredith says it was an invaluable experience, after meeting with Marie Claire magazine editor Jackie Frank (pictured left with Meredith).
"This experience has inspired me to continue to give all women the opportunity to own attainable, fine quality, beautifully designed jewellery throughout Australia and the world."
