QUEST Serviced Apartments is on track to open Quest Toowoomba on June 30, ahead of another two properties in Queensland this year.

Located on Margaret Street, the new property sees the restoration of the existing Church of Christ building integrated as the lobby and reception area.

Quest CEO Zed Sanjana says a number of infrastructure projects in the pipeline has shown great confidence in the region.

"Toowoomba has been booming in recent years, its economy bolstered by the strength of its major industries - manufacturing, wholesale, agriculture, education and tourism," Sanjana says.

"The recently opened Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport just outside of Toowoomba has added significant weight to the city's standing among business and industry - securing its positioning as the commercial and economic hub of the Darling Downs.

"Looking at the number of major infrastructure projects on the way and ongoing government and private investment.

"I feel confident in Quest Toowoomba's ability to meet the increased accommodation demands of a steadily growing economy."

The latest addition will be jointly operated by Cynthia Rice of Quest Ipswich and Jenny and Tony O'Reilly of Quest Breakfast Creek.

FK Gardner & Sons Group will develop the property, which features 74 studio, one, two and three bedroom serviced apartments.

Quest has 12 properties slated to open in Australia and New Zealand this year, including Kelvin Grove and Chermside in Queensland.
